“The results of the study on ‘the relationship of citizens with justice’ conducted by the CNRS highlight the structural deficit of confidence in the judicial institution. (…), confidence in the institution is decreasing as a result of judicial experiences, particularly in family or criminal matters. (…) Justice, like our society, is sick. Unfortunately, there is no vaccine against the evils of our time. Will the Estates General on Justice, which are currently being held, allow for the collective emergence of effective remedies? A few months before the presidential election, I doubt it.”
