Geoffroy Goubin involved in the creation of the White-Collar Crime Young Practitioners network

A small group of young practitioners have recently launched the first international network dedicated to the next generation of criminal business and compliance lawyers, the White-Collar Crime Young Practitioners (WCCYP).

With a view to strengthening links between France, Switzerland and the United States, the ambition of this new international network is to bring together the rising generation (under 45) of criminal lawyers practising in leading independent law firms in these three countries, from single practice to multidisciplinary firms.

Federating and encouraging idea sharing

WCCYP’s aim is to promote the sharing of ideas, to discuss changes in legislation and case law, market trends and emerging client needs, and to encourage networking through social events.

WCCYP will offer regular meetings, round tables and conferences on a wide variety of issues relating to business criminal law and compliance, facilitating the sharing of knowledge between practitioners of the same generation.

The network has a Board of Directors made up of the nine founding members, men and women lawyers from the three countries:

  • Geoffroy Goubin – Partner – Bougartchev Moyne Associés
  • Shawn Crowley – Partner – Kaplan Hecker & Fink
  • Aymeric Dumoulin – Counsel – Debevoise & Plimpton
  • Margot Laporte – Partner – Miller & Chevalier
  • Ophélia Claude – Partner – Antonin Lévy & Associés
  • Gildas Robert – Partner – ADVANT Altana
  • Simone Nadelhofer – Partner – Lalive
